During the week beginning Monday 19th August we will be running our annual Book Fair. This is a great opportunity for you to purchase some books, posters or novelty items for your child/ren and support our school.

Money raised during this time goes to purchasing new books for our school library and building sets of books for Lit Circles. Children will view the Book Fair and create a 'Wish List' to bring home and share with you. The Book Fair will be open from 8:30-8:55 in the morning and 3:20-3:45pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during that week. It will be set up in the Learning Street with access available from the far end door (not through the office). Cash payments (correct amount, if possible, please as change will be limited) and EFTPOS facilities will be available.

We will be running a colouring competition next week, students will receive these on Monday 12th August. There will be a winner in each class, who will receive a $10 voucher to use towards their purchase at our Book Fair. Entries will need to be in to Mrs Boal by Monday 19th August. (Please write your name and class clearly on the back of your entry).

On Friday 23rd August, we will be conducting our Annual Book Week Dress Up parade, where students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character. This year's national theme for Book Week is 'Reading is Magic', which you could choose to use as inspiration for your costume. There will be a whole school parade in the morning approx 9:05-9:20am where we will walk along Stephenson Street to the Fire Brigade and back to school.
